Been a while here. I have been staying pretty darn busy working on other peoples computers as well as maintaining the other website. And this week I started my income taxes. Three days of income tax preparation is tiring. Only thing thats going to save my ass this year is I lost my ass in one of my businesses. Oh well. As long as I make a little this year on it, even if all I do is break even, I don't care.
They say that a person that never fails is a person who never tries anything. I like trying new things. Even if I fail I have the pleasure of having known that I tried it. No regrets.
Still no word from the Canadian Consulate. Some days it's all I can do to just wait. Guess I shouldn't have asked for patience, cause now I'm getting a lesson in it.
Well back to the taxes.

Here we go again. One more day that my Fiance' has to go to the old apartment to call me. Her phone was supposed to be hooked up this morning, but apparently it isn't. I didn't know it was possible to miss talking to someone so much.
Normally we talk nearly all day long on either one of the messengers or on the phone throughout the day. I never realized how much we do talk until her move to a new place.
Well I guess her phone just got switched to the new place. Right in the middle of our conversation the phone got switched to the new place. Bet she's fit to be tied about now.
Oh well, I'm sure she'll call back when she gets back to the new place.

Well today is my fiance's big move to her new apartment and I'm not there to help.
I'm just about ready to start cussing here. Makes me mad when I can't be there to help with anything. As her fiance, I'm supposed to be her helpmate. Some helpmate I am. Stuck 1000 clicks from her.

Well things are looking up as far as the computer business is going. Sold a couple more computers and I have orders for a few more.
My fiance' is moving to another apartment this week and I'm not there to help. Makes me crazy sometimes.
STILL no word from the consulate. I'm beginning to wonder if there is actually somebody working there. It isn't like there is a lot to do. I already did 90% of the work for them. This is rediculous. I had to do my own background checks as well as get all court documents from every little thing including my driving record. Then I had to print out what each law was, from on-line resources, as to what the exact law is and what the penaltys were.
Can you imagine having to go get your own fingerprints and running a FBI and State Police check then getting at least three character references and those references have to be from certain types of individuals. Then no-one calls the references.
I'm beginning to think they are going to wait a year then just flip a coin.
